I’ve watched it 5 times now and every time I see something more. I cannot wait for this film to be released in the U.S.!! What Terry has done here is beyond astounding and mere words cannot begin to describe it! I have to comment on the last line of the trailer when Tony(Johnny) says “Nothing is permanent, not even death!” it just gives me chills and goose bumps every time I hear it. No doubt only one of many “I just walked into a haunted room” moments laced throughout this film.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it. For all the inevitable sadness which seeing the film will bring, I am still utterly excited and invigorated by this trailer. I keep wanting to drag people over to the computer and say, “Voila!”

It’s fantastic! I think I’ve watched it at least 10 times now. The hi-def is incredibly beautiful. First I gasped at the monastery and the scenes beyond the mirror, then I shivered and smiled to see Heath again and then I cried for him. Now I’ve savored Christopher Plummer and Tom Waits and those fleeting glimpses of Johnny, Jude and Colin and been ravished by Lily Cole. And every time it ends I get smacked across the face! It’s not coming to ME on October 16th, no it’s not!
I want to see The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus in my town in New Jersey, USA, dammit! I want a distributor and a release date. I want to buy the tickets and go to the multiple screenings I know I’ll attend so I can soak in every detail. It’s time for the Hollywood suits to get off the pot and LISTEN to us! This trailer will sell one hell of a lot of people who might never have seen a Gilliam film, or have any idea how incredible his work is. People who loved Heath Ledger and love Johnny Depp in his fantastical roles, people who want to be amazed and fascinated and transported by a movie–they will come if you give them half a chance. And just FYI, gentlemen, the term “people” includes citizens of the USA. Whatever your problem is, GET OVER IT! Give us Dr. Parnassus!

I totally agree with “Jennydcf”!!!! Please listen to the people. We want to see this movie in theaters all across the USA. This movie has mass appeal to so many people on so many levels. People want to see this movie in theaters in the USA so give it to them. We have spoken loud and clear. We want wide distribution of the Dr. Parnassus movie in theaters all across the USA and the world. Everyone deserves the chance to see this movie in a theater.
